Ann Makosinski is a 19 year old from Victoria — and she’s just been named on a list with this criteria:

“Game changers who are under 30 years old in 20 industries challenging the conventional wisdom and rewriting the rules for the next generation of entrepreneurs, entertainers, educators and more.”

This list — is the Forbes 30 Under 30.

The young woman who went to St. Margaret’s and St. Michael’s schools in Victoria was surprised last week to be chosen from 15,000 nominations. Check out the interview with Mel Z to hear how Ann Makosinski found out she was on the Forbes list, what led her to becoming an inventor at 15 and learn about her TedXTalks.
