It’s a bit of a deja vu.

Blue Rodeo 2016
Blue Rodeo performing at Save-On-Foods Memorial Arena January 2016 – Mel Z / Rogers

This exact time last year, well actually, two days earlier in January — Blue Rodeo brought their winter tour to Victoria. If it’s time for your yearly visit with Blue Rodeo, then you’ll want to grab your tickets for the Thursday, January 26th concert.

If you haven’t seen Blue Rodeo in ages, may I suggest a catch-up with one of your all time favourite bands. The band will perform tracks from their newest and fifteenth studio album, 1,000 Arms. The album is a return to the style of early Blue Rodeo featuring harmonizing vocals. There’s also a beautiful new set for the tour and naturally all those songs you’ve memorized from one of Canada’s most iconic bands.

Check out the interview with Blue Rodeo’s bassist, Bazil Donovan:

Hear about the new album, how the band dealt with the devastating news about Gord Downie and what keeps the magic alive.
