If you thought Disneyland & Disney World’s Star Wars Land in 2019 was exciting, Disney Parks has confirmed a $2.3 billion expansion at Tokyo DisneySea which will include a real-life Kingdom of Arendelle from “Frozen,” Rapunzel’s Tower from “Tangled,” and a Never Land for Peter Pan and his friends.

As part of the “Tangled” experience, visitors will ride gondolas toward the lantern festival, while in Arendelle you can dine inside the castle (!) and experience a boat ride attraction featuring Elsa and Anna, with the story taking place after the events of “Frozen”.  Meanwhile in the “Peter Pan” section, you’ll fly over the jungles of Never Land into a battle with Captain Hook. When Tinker Bell sprinkles the boats with pixie dust, guests find themselves flying through Never Land on an unprecedented adventure that features iconic music and dynamic 3D imagery of the characters from the film.

But wait, there’s more. DisneySea’s sister park, Tokyo Disneyland, also is in expansion mode with a “Beauty and the Beast”-inspired area and a “Big Hero 6” attraction!

It’s scheduled to open in 2022 and based on the preview, this will be amazing.

Here’s our reaction. We’re excited but concerned for the employees.
