Chip In for the Kids
Dispose of your Christmas tree in exchange for a donation to the BC Lions Society For Children with Disabilities and the Victoria Easter Seals House. Recycle your tree at any of the following 7 locations between the hours of 10am – 4pm, January 10th & 11th, 2009: Hillside Centre, Westshore Town Centre, Tillicum Centre, Fort & Foul Bay Safeway Parking Lot, Sooke Home Hardware, University Heights Shopping Centre, and Broadmead Village Shopping Centre. Can’t make it down to one of our sites? For a minimum donation of $10.00, the BC Lions Society will pick up your tree. Deadline to register for the pick-up is Tuesday, Jan 6th. Victoria Tea Festival
The 3rd annual Victoria Tea Festival will take place February 14th/15th 2009 in the Crystal Garden.
