I’ll be honest….I take very good care of my skin. I use an SPF everyday, drink water, remove make-up every night and limit the amount of make up I wear. BUT what I don’t use…is a toner! I had no idea how beneficial a toner can be!! Here’s a few positive effects a toner has on your skin:

*Cleaner skin
*Re-balances acid mantle
*Reduces oil output
*Smaller-looking pores
*Aids in the application of other products

SO! Here’s a wonderful toner you can make, at home, using honey!!
Honey acts as a humectant, which means it attracts and preserves water which aids in skin hydration. It’s also beneficial for acne prone skin because it inhibits the growth of bacteria, reducing the chance of breakouts. Love this!

Take 1 Cucumber and blend it up very well. Drain the juice into a container. Add 2 tablespoons of honey to the mix. Blend together. Apply to your face and neck using a cotton ball. Let air dry and then rinse off. You can do this both morning and night!
Have fun!!! smile emoticon The mixture can be put into the fridge. It lasts a week. (Picture courtesy of http://www.onegoodthingbyjillee.com)
