Hair?? Nails? SKIN??!! Wow, this stuff is not just for your salads anymore!!!

So, I took advantage of some down time last night and decided to put Apple Cider Vinegar to the test, something I have wanted to do for a little while now. In my research I decided to go for the top 3 ways to use this delightful little bottle of magic. SO! Here we go:

First, I decided to drink it! I added a tablespoon to water, and BOTTOMS UP! (Yuck, yuck, yuck!) Wouldn’t recommend doing that. The aftertaste is pretty awful. Either add it to salads or other foods, OR as Carolyn (an devoted listener) suggested, add it to some honey! Just try and fit it into your diet as it has so many health benefits from helping with tummy troubles to healing a sore throat. It helps with lowering cholesterol, to easing a stuffy nose! Great stuff…

Next, I decided to try it on my hair! Apparently, this beauty of a product is great at balancing the PH on our scalp and adding amazing nutrients to our hair. It said to add 2 tablespoons of ACV to roughly two cups of water and shake or stir it up. Then, wash your hair, condition it and rinse out the conditioner, then dump this on your hair and leave it on for two minutes and rinse it out! I did it, and my hair feels AMAZING!! I will most definitely be adding this to my beauty routine!

Lastly, a toner!! The many articles I read said this stuff is amazing for the skin as a toner. So, naturally, being the eager guinea pig that I am, I had to try it and see. So, I added two tablespoons of ACV to two cups of water and dipped a cotton ball in it and put it on my forehead first. I wanted to make sure my skin didn’t react to it. After 10 minutes I could feel and see a difference so I decided to put it on the rest of my face and let me tell you, it’s amazing stuff!! My skin feels fantastic!!! I’ll only use it at night though, to be sure my skin doesn’t dry out.

Pick up some ACV at a grocery store today and do some of your own research to see which uses might be good for you! I love this stuff!
