The Greater Victoria Public Library recently launched another way for residents to share the love of not only books and movies, but now passes to some of the area’s attractions.

That’s right, you can now “borrow” a pass to go to the following cultural and recreation centers:

Art Gallery of Greater Victoria

  • Provides free general admission to the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria for 2 adults and up to 4 children
  • Loan period is 7 days

Royal BC Museum

  • Provides free general admission to the Royal BC Museum for 2 adults and up to 3 children (youth under 5 are free)
  • Loan period is 7 days

Saanich Recreation Centers

  • Provides free general admission to any Saanich Recreation Centre for 2 adults and up to 4 children (5-18 years; children 4 and under are free)
  • Loan period is 7 days
  • Does not include child minding or registered classes

Robert Bateman Centre

  • Provides free general admission to galleries and exhibitions for 2 adults, 19 years and older and up to 4 youth, aged 6 to 18. Youth under 5 are free
  • Can be signed out on an adult card
  • Loan period is 7 days

Craigdarroch Castle

  • Provides free general admission to Craigdarroch Castle for 2 adults and 2 youth (ages 6-18); children under 5 are free.

What a cool idea! Just log in your library card and you can get on the list to borrow the passes. Drop by or call your local Greater Victoria Public Library for details.
