Hello.

It is Monday. Your weary eyes struggle to focus on your screen. The last cup of coffee has worn off, and the next has yet to curl its warm, tingly, caffeinated fingers around your soul. 5 PM seems a lifetime away; a treacherous chasm of time and space so insurmountable that you can’t even begin to imagine the version of yourself that will emerge on the other side.

Then: a light on the horizon. A sign from above? The soothing balm of Gilead, a cosmic cure-all to rest your weary spirit and quiet the angry voices in your mind? Could it be….?

Yes, it’s the FUN FINDER BLOG! (I hear it makes excellent toilet reading).

This weekend was the Raymond James Father’s Day Walk/Run for Prostate Research, an incredible charity event that has raised over $30,000 for prostate cancer research! There was also the Great Denim Giveaway in the Westshore Town Centre, and an amazing artsy afternoon at the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria’s fantastic family day, featuring a live performance by Brendan Fernandes.

As always, a special #OceanFamily thanks to Westshore Town Centre, Beacon Hill Children’s Farm, Barb’s Fish & Chips, Peninsula Co-op, and Campus Nissan. See you next week!
