The Ocean 98.5 Christmas Car created a lot of excitement this past weekend!  Everyone we ran into snapped a selfie or photo with its 1,800 + Christmas lights!

The Christmas Car debuted its stunning light show at the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority Light Up on Friday night where everyone was invited down to the Downtown Causeway to get up close and personal with the decorated boats in the marina.  The free hot chocolate and Christmas music added to an already beautiful evening.

On Saturday, the Fun Finding Team started the day at DoubleTree by Hilton for a Christmas Tree Fundraiser in support of the Victoria Conservatory of Music.  Live fiddle performance, the BEST signature walnut chocolate chip cookies, a fire pit, and gorgeous Island grown Douglas Firs really set the stage for the next Fun Finding stop…

Santa’s Light Parade in Downtown Victoria!!! The streets were crowded with happy Victorians awaiting Santa’s arrival.  The floats and parade performers made for an incredible show!  There were racecars, axe throwers, dancers, musicians, The Grinch!, and of course, the Ocean 98.5 Christmas Car.  Santa sang his way down the parade route getting everyone to sing along.

On Sunday, we followed Santa to Sidney for the Sidney Sparkles Parade.  The Christmas Car was ready to roll, the musicians ready to rock, and the boats ready to sail.  That’s right – it was a two-part parade!!  After Santa came through the parade route, everyone headed over to the Sidney Pier for a Christmas Sail Past!  TWO parades in one evening – you can’t top that.

Next weekend, you can find the Fun Finder at Breakfast with Santa at Hillside Shopping Centre and later skating with Santa at City Centre Park in Langford.  Be sure to stop by and say hi – you never know what great prizes we have hiding in our pockets!
