What a fantastic weekend!  The Fun Finder Team had a great weekend of exploring all the Christmas Festivities that Victoria has to offer.

On Saturday, we visited some of the volunteers working with the Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign.  Teenie, a volunteer you’ll see most often outside London Drugs on Yates, has been volunteering with the Christmas Kettles for nine years!  It was so fun to visit with her – she loves her volunteer position and brings TONS of Christmas Spirit to the campaign, dancing and jingling her bell shoes.

Sunday was all about Santa!  We spent the morning at Hillside Shopping Centre for Breakfast with Santa.  Live performances by Maxine had kids of all ages dancing around the stage in the Food Court, and with full tummies, everyone enjoyed colouring and balloon animals until Santa arrived.

Sunday afternoon, we followed Santa to City Centre Park in Langford and laced up to join him on the ice for an afternoon of skating.  Good weather, hot chocolate, and lots of great Christmas music kept the crowd moving.

Next weekend, you can find the Fun Finder exploring local craft sales, and checking out the lights around Victoria!
