On Friday, The Fun Finder teamed up with Mike and Jenna for a sneak preview of the benefits available with the ‘Be A Local Tourist’ wristbands.  We went for a free tour of the Parliament Buildings, snacked on Pistachio Cherry squares from Roger’s Chocolates, and kicked it old school with pinball and PacMan at Quazar’s Arcade.

Saturday night, the Fun Finder Team helped cheer the Victoria Royal to a shoot-out victory during one of the biggest nights of the season! Pink-in-the-Rink supports the BC Cancer Foundation and everyone from fans to players to Marty the Marmot himself were dressed in pink.

Neither snow, sleet, rain, nor gale-force winds kept nearly 500 runners away from the 2020 Hatley Castle 8km race on Sunday!  Part of the Vancouver Island Race Series, part proceeds of entry fees support the Victoria Hospital Foundation Cardiac Unit.  Last year, they helped purchase a treadmill and this year they are supporting the purchase of a new defibrillator.  There was a great crowd of cheering supporters at the finish line – runners and cheerleaders alike braved all kinds of weather on Sunday!
