The Admired Women Project is a fundraiser for Our Place Society, auctioning portraits of local, admired women including our own Robin Farrell! Check out the beautiful portraits HERE!

The raised funds will be split between both Our Place‘s programs and services during the COVID-19 epidemic as well as the “Women in Progress Project” for Our Place’s Next Steps to Employment program. The unique Women in Progress project invites women to sign up for customized skills and training sessions and are supported in their job searches.

BIO:
Robin Farrell is an award-winning broadcaster with 18 years of morning show experience – 13 of which have been spent here in Victoria. She currently hosts the morning show with A.J. Cruze on Ocean 98.5 She previously worked as a morning show host for 107.3 KOOL FM in Victoria, and Q103.1 in Kelowna. Robin started her broadcasting career as an intern on the morning show at 104.9 XFM and worked evenings and weekends at 96.9 JACK FM in Vancouver. She was a recipient of the “Morning Show of the Year” award at the Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Awards in 2013, and was a nominee for the Vancouver Island Top 20 Under 40 Business and Community Achievement Awards in 2013. Robin rode the 2010 Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock as a media rider raising money for pediatric cancer research, and was a nominee for the 2016 National Philanthrophy Awards in Victoria for Co-Founding and Co-Chairing the Cycle of Hope Society – a 5 year fundraising project that raised awareness and inspired hope in families living with ALS. Robin is the proud mama of Otis The Predicting Wonderdog. She loves living in Victoria and enjoys doing what she does everyday – bringing JOY to the people, and trying to take over the world.
