Rogers Hometown Hockey makes its way to CFB Esquimalt for a full weekend and you can expect a loads of FREE hockey-related activities, NHL Alumni appearances, music, and fun for the whole family!

 

The two-day hockey festival begins on Saturday, Feb. 16 at Noon PT at CFB Esquimalt’s Wurtele Arena, and will conclude on Sunday evening following the Rogers Hometown Hockey outdoor viewing party. The afternoon’s broadcast kicks off with a special pre-game show hosted by MacLean and Slone live from the Sportsnet Mobile Studio beginning at 3:30 p.m. PT, followed by a showdown between the Montreal Canadiens and Florida Panthers, on Sportsnet, Sportsnet NOW and Rogers NHL LIVE.

 

Join Ron MacLean and Tara Slone LIVE on site on Sunday, February 17th for the Support Our Troops broadcast as they tell the stories that celebrate the hockey history and culture that put Esquimalt on Canada’s hockey map, and stick around to catch the Montreal Canadiens take on the Florida Panthers.

 

Vancouver Canucks alumnus Kirk McLean will be there along with Don Cherry and Ron MacLean for a special edition of Coach’s Corner in the Sportsnet Mobile Studio Saturday night!


Time:

  • Saturday, Feb. 16 – Festival open from Noon PT to 6 p.m. PT

·        Sunday, Feb. 17 – Festival opens at 11 a.m. PT and runs through the end of the Rogers Hometown Hockey outdoor viewing party
