Sidney does Canada Day in a big way! The three-day celebration includes music, food, dancing, entertainment, fun, tradition, a parade and of course fireworks. This annual celebration is the result of the hard work and planning of several community organizations and a host of dedicated volunteers.

 

Saturday June 29, 2019 – Dinner en Rouge

Dinner en Rouge was the hit of the season during the Canada 150 Celebrations held in 2017. Thanks to the Mary Winspear Centre, this popular seaside formal dinner is returning to the shores of the Salish Sea for the third year in a row!

 

Sunday June 30, 2019 – Sidney Sidewalk Sale & Street Festival

10:00 am – 4:00 pm – Sidney Sidewalk Sale (Beacon Ave)
12:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Beer Gardens (Fourth Street/Beacon Ave)

Visit Sidney on Sunday, June 30 for Sidney’s Annual Sidewalk Sale & Street Festival! This is the biggest sale of the year with over 40 stores participating! Enjoy live music and a beer garden, presented by Boondock’s Bar and Grill, from 12pm to 5pm on Fourth Street. In addition to music on the main stage, there are two other locations with musicians on Beacon Avenue to add to the day’s festivities. Shop and stroll the boutique shopping district and take in all Sidney has to offer!

 

Canada Day – July 1, 2019

Check out all the events happening in Sidney on Canada Day, including the Sidney Lions Pancake Breakfast in the morning, followed by the parade.

Come take in the Canada Day Parade at 11:30am in downtown Sidney! Afterwards, join us to continue the Canada Day celebrations at
Iroquois Park for the Family Fun Fair!
