The IMAX Theatre in the Royal BC Museum is taking the IMAX experience to the virtual world to engage with audiences during the COVID-19 closure. Full IMAX films will be posted on imaxvictoria.com as they become available. The IMAX team is also creating content hosting interviews with filmmakers online.
As a member of the Giant Screen Cinema Association (GSCA) IMAX Victoria joins more than 250 organizations in 20 countries reaching out to their audiences and some of that content will also be shared including content from IMAX Corporation and SK Films.
Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the IMAX® film Hubble, the IMAX Corporation will share special interviews, photos, and clips for IMAX fans, space enthusiasts, educators, and students. Available at 10am PDT on Saturday, April 25 at youtube.com/user/imaxmovies.
